Radio Interview on Bat Season

Bonnie Isenberg from the Oakville Humane Society holding the wayward
raccoon
(reprinted from The Milton Canadian Champion)
Bonnie Isenberg of the Oakville
Humane Society checks over a raccoon before
releasing it back into the wild last Friday. The
humane society was called by citizens who found
the raccoon with a Chef Boyardee can stuck on
its head in a Main Street parking lot. The
humane society contacted Humane Wildlife Control
for assistance in removing the can, which was
successfully cut away by technician supervisor
Julian Ames. Humane Wildlife Control donates its
time and services to humane societies, SPCAs and
city animal control agencies across Canada when
urban wildlife is in distress. The raccoon was
exhausted but unharmed -- except for a little
spaghetti sauce.
