Burlington Humane Society's "Pooch Promenade"

Participants in the obstacle course
The Burlington Humane Society
held its 15th Annual "Pooch Promenade" on May
25, 2008. There were over 1,200 participants in
the fundraising event. Humane Wildlife Control
sponsored the day and provided information on
urban wildlife issues to residents. They raised
over $23,000 to help with animal care and
adoption in Burlington.
Participation in this event was part of Humane Wildlife
Control's partnership initiative, recognizing the valuable contribution that humane societies, SPCA's and animal control
organizations make to the lives of animals every day.
