Humane Wildlife Control sponsors Burlington Humane Society's "Pooch Promenade"

Participants begin the Pooch Promenade at Spencer Smith Park With over 500 human attendees and 400 canine attendees, the 14th Annual Pooch Promenade on May 27, 2007 was a great success. The event raised more than $25,000 for the Burlington Humane Society, which will go toward the care of stray and abandoned animals at the shelter.

Participation in this event was part of Humane Wildlife Control's partnership initiative , recognizing the valuable contribution that humane societies, SPCA's and animal control organizations make to the lives of animals every day.
